Biography
Dianne Cecil is a Queensland born emerging artist based in the Gold Coast Hinterland who is currently completing her Bachelor of Fine Arts at Queensland College of Art, Griffith University. Dianne is a landscape artist and her works may describe the topography and flora of the area as well as creating atmosphere and sound, and a feeling of being in this environment. Her paintings will show quite a diversity of colour, texture and mood as she views the landscape as more than an object or land fragment but as a landscape incorporating a relationship between a lived reality and a potential for other ways of being.
