Biography
Karen Waddell is an emerging Brisbane artist exploring the increasing tension between urban and industrial land development and the demise of natural habitats, particularly relating to the Pine Rivers’ koala population. She uses painting, drawing, photography, video and jewellery-making to interrogate, expose and promote discussion of these contentious local issues.

Current Queensland College of Art, Griffith University, Bachelor of Fine Art
